With most retailers still offering great deals for furniture and other items, the price for our assembly service is still likely to be covered by the savings you'll make in the store.
Our hourly rate, and minimum charge, is £30 for weekdays and I've just decided that during February we will hold that price for evening hours as well. As a guide, a single chest of drawers takes about an hour; a double one, like the Ikea unit I assembled on Friday, takes about two hours.
