FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When can I schedule an appointment?
We provide our services 7 days a week, although evening and weekend visits are charged at a higher rate. We usually only make appointments Monday to Friday, 8.am to 6.pm although we may call you back outside these times if you leave us a message.


How do I book your flatpack assembly service?
Once your product has been delivered to you, call us on 07787 403 119 between 8.am and 6.pm, or email us and we'll get back to you. Please tell us what you need assembling, with as much detail as possible.

Can businesses use this service?
Yes, and the process is the same. Simply call 07787 403 119 or email us.


How do I pay?
We prefer cash and you will be given a receipt at the time. You can also pay by card using PayPal, or by online banking direct to our account. Most cards are accepted by PayPal.

Can I book a specific time?
We'll do our best to make a specific time and we'll keep you informed if we're likely to be significantly late or if we can't attend for reasons outside our control.

Can I change or cancel an appointment?
Please give us as much notice as possible, preferably at least 24 hours. We don't normally charge unless we've incurred costs - eg, if we're already on our way to you. 


Will you move the product?
Technicians will NOT usually move the item after assembly unless it is small and light. Ideally, the product should be placed in the area where it is to be assembled. It may be possible to move the component parts after unpacking where you are unable to move the entire package yourself. Usually, you are responsible for having the item(s) placed where the assembly is to take place.

How long will assembly take?
Assembly of an item will vary depending upon the number, size and complexity of the pieces. Many jobs are completed in under an hour. Please ask the technician for an estimated completion time.

Will you remove packaging materials?
The technician will NOT usually remove cartons, etc. However, we will break them down and put them in the designated bins where possible for recycling, landfill, etc.

Is there a guarantee?
We can't guarantee other people's products but we do undertake not to invalidate their guarantee by our assembly of the item. We also guarantee not to damage the item or your home, and we will clear up after ourselves. Moving an item after it has been assembled and located can strain joints and cause damage and this would invalidate our guarantee.
